Spring is here, and we’re celebrating with our Spring Work & Play Event at Whispering Oaks, happening April 10–12! This is your chance to enjoy the great outdoors, connect with an awesome community, and score an exclusive 70% discount on lodging just for lending a helping hand around camp.
On Saturday, guests will spend a few hours helping with light projects around the campground as we get everything ready for the busy summer season. It’s a great way to give back, meet new friends, and be part of the magic that makes Whispering Oaks feel like home.

Love cooking? Or just love tasting great food? Join our Soup Cook-Off Competition—compete or be a judge!
For Competitors:
• Bring your best homemade soup recipe and cook up a storm!
• We’ll provide stove access and serving bowls, you bring the ingredients and your A-game
• Trophy awarded to the winner!
For Judges (That’s You!):
• Sample a variety of soups and cast your vote
• Help crown the ultimate Soup Champion
• Warm up with delicious flavors perfect for a spring evening

Here’s what we have planned:
🔥 Friday – March 13
7PM – Welcome Home Potluck
Bring a dish to share and join us in the Dining Hall for great food and even better company.
9PM – Fireside Fridays
Relax around the campfire, BYOB or bring a bottle to share, and reconnect with old friends (or make new ones).
10PM – WO After Dark
The heat turns up in the Woodshed, the hot tub stays bubbling, and the fire keeps glowing.
🛠 Saturday – March 14
8–10AM – Continental Breakfast
10AM–3PM – Volunteers R Us
Spend a few hours helping us prep the grounds for the upcoming season. It’s a great way to give back, meet fellow campers, and earn that unbeatable 70% discounted rate.
12PM – Lunch
Cold cut ham or turkey sandwiches, chips & cookies.
6:30PM – Dinner
8PM – WO After Dark
