SPECIAL!! Book 2 nights and add any extra nights for $25 PP. Must call office at 629-210-2100 and let use know your stay dates so we can adjust your reservation after booking the event.
Forget the traffic and the crowds and head to the woods to celebrate NYE at Whispering Oaks. Dinners, Shows, Champagne Toast at Midnight, Fireworks, and one final party of 2024 as we welcome 2025.

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks! Our 21 and over men only retreat is open 365 days a year. Enjoy hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, courtyard games. hiking trails, heated showers, and our indoor play area appropriately named, the Woodshed. During event weekends, all meals are included and served in the dining hall and the schedule offers a variety of entertainments including themed parties, dance nights, cocktails, games and shows featuring the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE! Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!
MONDAY 12/30
5:00PM – WELCOME SOCIAL HOUR – Settle in then grab a beverage and come to the event hall to meet your fellow guests for the weekend
7:00PM – WELCOME HOME Potluck – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!
8:00PM – WELCOME HOME Cocktails – Grab a cocktail and get ready for bingo at the event hall bar!
8:30PM – 2024 DRAG BINGO BLOW OUT – Bingo in the event hall with the gang from Whispering Oaks LIVE!!
10:00pm – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, dance in the event hall, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire. You do you
TUESDAY 12/31
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST served in the event hall
10:00AM – 12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS – scan the QR code at the office for a map and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy winter sights and mountain air
10:15 AM – Bridge 101 – Learn the Grandaddy of all card games in the event hall
12:00PM – Lunch – Hot Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwiches, Tater Tots, Dessert, Sweet Tea
1:00PM to 3:00PM- FUN AND GAMES – it’s afternoon fun in the event hall with a variety of games hosted by the staff and residents of Whispering Oaks.
3:00PM – Trivia Session with some prizes. Meet at the Outdoor Bar
4:00PM – JUST FOR TODAY/FRIENDS OF BILL MEETING – WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery. Take a break and head to Site21 for some coffee and conversation. Open to all
5:00PM – NYE Crawl/Shots and Snacks – host a stop at your place with your favorite hors d’oeuvres or shot in our final Crawl of 2024! See Ben or Tracy or sign up in the office (will move to event hall if weather is contrary)
6:00PM – 2024 CAMPER APPRECIATION AWARDS – before dinner, help us recognize the folks who helped us make 2024 such a phenomenal year!
6:30PM – Dinner – Baked Ham, Mac and Cheese, Black eyed Peas, Turnip Greens, Corn Bread, and Dessert
8:00PM – Midnight NYE BASH!! hosted by the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE!
- 8:00M – NYE Cocktails – hosted at the Events Hall Bar
- 8:30PM to 10PM – Whispering Oaks LiVE! (Early show)
- 11:30PM– Whispering Oaks LIVE! (Late show OUTSIDE (weather permitting)) with fire spinning, and countdown leading up to-champagne toast/fireworks at midnight.
- 12:00AM – FIREWORKS! Happy New Year Welcome 2025, champagne toast and fireworks!
WEDNESDAY 1/1 – HAPPY NEW YEAR!
8:00AM to 10AM – Coffee bar open in event hall
11:00AM – NEW YEAR BRUNCH – served in the event hall hosted by TJ and Hunter Hunkerpillar. Enjoy some brunch. We will reveal the 2024 schedule and open for discussion at this time.
1:00 PM – 2025 Schedule reveal with a Q&A session. Bring your ideas!
3:00PM – Checkout (later than normal so you can enjoy the Brunch)
3:00PM TO 6:00PM – RRR Day! – Enjoy all our facilities as long as you like! Recuperate, Reset and plan your Return! We can’t wait to see you again!
