BARE AS YOU DARE WEEKEND / CMEN WEEK  5/31-6/02

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks!  Our 21 and over men only retreat is open 365 days a year.  Enjoy our heated pool, hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, courtyard games. hiking trails, heated showers, and our indoor play area appropriately named, the Woodshed.  During event weekends, all meals are included and served in the dining hall and the schedule offers a variety of entertainments including themed parties, dance nights, cocktails, games and shows featuring the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE!  Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!

Friday- 5/31

5:00PM – WELCOME HOME COCKTAILS TODAY’S THEME IS “HAWAIIAN LUAU” – Join us at the outdoor bar for our Friday afternoon cocktail hour!

7:00PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!

8:30PM – WO GAME SHOW! – head to the event all for some game show fun hosted by Jolene, Carmen, and the men of CMEN!

9:45PM – ICE CREAM SOCIAL in the dining hall
10:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire.

Saturday – 6/01

8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

10:00 AM – BRIDGE 101 – Learn the granddaddy of all card games—dining hall.
10:15AM-12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS –The trail map has been updated for 2024 so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air and the start of Summer.

12:00PM – LUNCH – Hamburger/Hot Dog cookout with Chips and Cole slaw

12:00PM-2:00PM– BARE AS YOU DARE POOL PARTY- Watch your tan lines disappear in our swimsuit optional pool with an afternoon of music and poolside fun!

2:00PM -AFTERNOON TRIVIA at the pool – Test your general trivia knowledge poolside at this WO favorite.

3:00PM – Cards for Humanity in the Assembly Hall

3:30PM – Volleyball –   All welcome even if you are new to playing volleyball.

3:30PM – Massage (not facilitated).  Meet near the volleyball court.
4:00 PM – Friends of Bill – on the benches near the Memorial Garden.

5:00PM – AFTERNOON COCKTAIL PARTY THEME “SUNSHINE YELLOW”– join the men of CMEN at the outdoor for afternoon cocktails hosted by Rob, John, and Darrell and social hour crew. All are invited!!!!!
6:45PM – DINNER – Baked Ham, Rice, buttered corn and fresh garden salad

8:00PM – PRESHOW COCKTAILS – Grab a cocktail at the outdoor bar and get ready for W.O. LIVE!

8:30PM – WHISPERING OAKS LIVE! – Join the cast of Whispering Oaks Live! and their guests for a variety show like none other.  Guest performers are welcome!  See Wilda or Carmen to sign up.

10:00PM – Ice Cream Social
10:00PM – DANCING IN THE DARK – After the show, head to the pool for a night dance hosted by WO Resident Stephen Talbott and crew!

Sunday – 6/2

8:00AM to 10:00AM CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

11:00AM – HOT BRUNCH in the dining hall

11:00AM – CHECK OUT – RRR Day! Enjoy all of our facilities as long as you like!  Recuperate, Reset, and plan your Return!  We can’t wait to see you again!
