Mardi Gras THEME Weekend – Reduced prices this weekend!

Get ready to let the good times roll as Whispering Oaks brings the spirit of New Orleans to the woods! Beads, Music, Cocktails, and a golf cart parade through the campground.

Theme Weekends cost a little less and don’t include meals, but the café will be open with plenty of food and drink options available for purchase.

Suggested Attire: Mardi Gras Dress (Green, Gold, Purple)

MARDI GRAS THEME WEEKEND: Theme weekends are priced a bit less and do NOT include meals, however our café will be open various times for dining.

NOTE: This weekend features a Cabin Decorating Contest as well as a decorated Golf Cart Parade

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks! Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!

Friday – 7/24
7:00PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!
9:00PM – FIRESIDE FRIDAYS- Bask in the glow of the campfire and get to know your fellow campers. BYOB or bring a bottle to pass.
10:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire.

Saturday – 7/25
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
10:00AM to 12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS – The trail map has been updated so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air.
12:00PM to 2:00PM – RED ROOSTER CAFÉ OPEN
12:00PM to 2:00PM – MARDI GRAS POOL PARTY – The pool is open, warm, and best enjoyed without swimsuits. NO SEQUINS/FEATHERS IN THE POOL
2:00 PM – CORNHOLE/HORSESHOES – Meet at the Cornhole or Horseshoe area.
3:00PM – GOLF CART DECORATING – Meet at the Outdoor bar. WO will provide SOME decorations. You can help by bringing additional items.
5:00PM – GOLF CART PARADE – Put you cart in the parade line near the outdoor bar and follow along as we work our way through the campground.
6:00PM to 8:00PM – RED ROOSTER CAFÉ OPEN – Red Rooster Café open for dinner.
10:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire. The evening is yours!
10:00PM – 12:00AM – RED ROOSTER CAFÉ OPEN – Enjoy some late-night fried snacks!

Sunday – 7/26
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
11:00AM – CHECK OUT – RRR Day! Check out of your room, but stay and enjoy all of our facilities as long as you like! Recuperate, Reset, and plan your Return! We can’t wait to see you again!
