With Winter and Spring behind us, it is time to say WELCOME HOME! Break out the gear and come on out for our Pool Opening Party and First Foam Party of 2024! We are looking forward to seeing our old friends and family and welcome some new ones!

WELCOME HOME WEEKEND 2024

5/10-5/12

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks!  Our 21 and over men only retreat is open 365 days a year.  Enjoy our heated pool, hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, courtyard games. hiking trails, heated showers, and our indoor play area appropriately named, the Woodshed.  During event weekends, all meals are included and served in the dining hall and the schedule offers a variety of entertainments including themed parties, dance nights, cocktails, games and shows featuring the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE!  Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!

Friday- 5/10

7:00PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!

9:00PM – WELCOME HOME COCKTAILS – Join us at the outdoor bar for our Friday night cocktail hour!

10:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire.

Saturday – 5/11

8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

10:00AM-12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS –The trail map has been updated for 2024 so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air and the start of Summer.

12:00PM – LUNCH – Cold cut sandwiches, Cole Slaw, Chips, Cookies

12:00PM-2:00PM– WELCOME HOME POOL PARTY- The pool is open, and summer is off and running!  Join us for music, games and fun at our pool opening celebration.

3:00PM -AFTERNOON TRIVIA – Test your general trivia knowledge poolside at this WO favorite.

4:00PM – JUST FOR TODAY MEETING- WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery.  Take a break from the day and head to the porch at Site21 for some coffee and conversation. Open to all

5:30PM – AFTERNOON MIX AND MINGLE – make a refreshing beverage and head to the outdoor bar for our DIY happy hour.

6:30PM – DINNER – Tortellini Lasagna Bake, Garden Salad, Garlic Bread, and Dessert.

8:30PM – FIRST FOAM! – Dance and Play time at the Pavilion with our first Foam Party of the 2024 season!!!

10:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – After foam, stick around and dance, or rinse off and hit the hot tub or the campfire, or venture to the Woodshed, or hit them all.  The evening is yours!

Sunday – 5/12

8:00AM to 10:00AM CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

11:00AM – CHECK OUT – RRR Day! Enjoy all of our facilities as long as you like!  Recuperate, Reset, and plan your Return!  We can’t wait to see you again!
