THE BIG FINISH 2024! 5 DAYS OF LABOR DAY 08/30 -09/02 GO BIG OR GO HOME is the game plan for our BIGGEST weekend of the year! We pull out all the stops as we bring you 5 days of celebrating the end of the Summer 2024 season! Early Birds can hit the Fireside Underwear and Shot Party on Thursday followed by a weekend of Courtyard Cocktails, Parties by the Pool, WO LIVE!, CLUB WO and much much more! Don’t miss out on this holiday weekend BLOW OUT!

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks! Our 21 and over men only retreat is open 365 days a year. Enjoy our heated pool, hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, courtyard games. hiking trails, heated showers, and our indoor play area appropriately named, the Woodshed. During event weekends, all meals are included for our overnight guests and served in the dining hall and the schedule offers a variety of entertainments including themed parties, dance nights, cocktails, games and shows featuring the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE! Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!
Friday- 8/30
7:00 PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!
8:00 PM TO 10:00 PM – WELCOME HOME COCKTAILS AND UNDERWEAR PARTY– Grab your boxers or briefs and join us at the outdoor bar for a Friday night cocktail party to kick off the weekend!
10:00 PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire.
Saturday – 8/31
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL-BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
10:30AM – BRIDGE 101- After breakfast, hang in the dining hall for a lesson and few rounds of this popular card game
10:00AM-12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS –The trail map has been updated for 2024 so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air and the joys of Summer.
12:00 PM – LUNCH – Hamburger/Hot Dog Cookout, Chips, Watermelon, Lemonade
12:00 PM -3:00PM– LABOR DAY POOL BASH! – Stay cool at the pool and have some fun in the sun!
2:00 PM – POOL VOLLEYBALL! – Knock the ball around with us in this fun afternoon game
3:00 PM – AFTERNOON TRIVIA- Test your knowledge and win prizes in this spin on a Whispering Oaks favorite
4:00 PM – JUST FOR TODAY/FRIENDS OF BILL MEETING- WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery. Take a break from the day and head to the porch at Site21 and share some experience, strength and hope. Open to all
5:00 PM – COURTYARD CORNHOLE! – Join us in the courtyard for a few rounds of cornhole before dinner
6:30 PM – DINNER – Baked BBQ Chicken Breast, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Dessert
8:00 PM – PRE-SHOW COCKTAILS! – Join us at the Courtyard bar and get ready for WO Live!
8:30PM – WHISPERING OAKS LIVE! – Join the Whispering Oaks Cast along with their guests for a variety show like none other. Guest performers are welcome! See Wilda or Carmen to sign up.
10:00 PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire. The evening is yours!
SUNDAY – 9/1
8:00 AM to 10:00 AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST- served in the Dining Hall
11:00 AM – POOL VOLLEYBALL! Beat the heat and meet at the volleyball court for a volleyball game or two. All skill levels welcome!
12:00 PM – LUNCH – Sloppy Joe Sandwiches, Cucumber Salad, Chips, Cookies
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM – SUNDAY TEA DANCE – Dance, Party and Play at the pool and enjoy some fun in the sun!
3:00 PM – AFTERNOON TRIVIA BONUS ROUND – Test your general trivia knowledge poolside
4:00 PM – JUST FOR TODAY/FRIENDS OF BILL MEETING- WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery. Take a break from the day and head to the porch at Site21 and share some experience, strength and hope. Open to all
5:00 PM – 2024 LABOR DAY CRAWL – Meet at the bar outdoor bar, apologize to your liver, and join us as we stumble our way through the campground. If you wish to host a shot crawl stop, See Tracy or Ben.
6:30 PM – DINNER – Baked Pork Chops in mushroom gravy sauce served over rice, Lima Beans, Dinner Rolls, Dessert
8:30 PM – WO LIVE! NOT SO NEWLYWED GAME! – Head to the event hall for this favorite game show hosted by Jolene, see John or Tracy to sign up
9:00 PM – WHISPERING OAKS LIVE! – Join the Whispering Oaks Cast along with their guests for a variety show like none other! Have a talent you’d like to showcase in the show? See Carmen or Wilda.
10:30 PM – POOLSIDE GLOW DANCE PARTY hosted by Stephen Talbot, of course!
11:30 PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire. The evening is yours!
MONDAY –9/2
8:00 AM to 10:00 AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
11:00 AM – CHECK OUT – RRR Day! Enjoy all of our facilities as long as you like! Recuperate, Reset, and plan your Return! We can’t wait to see you again
