All American boys weekend at Whispering Oaks! Pool party events, Grill/BBQ Saturday afternoon and a Variety show Saturday evening followed by the largest fireworks display this side of Mt. Pleasant! 3 day minimum stay, but get the 4th Night free!

Welcome to Whispering Oaks 4th of July Celebration! Here’s what we have planned for the long weekend!

Wednesday – 7/3 (Early arrivals)
7:00PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!
9:00PM – DIVE IN MOVIE! – grab a deck chair or pool float and settle in for a cool night at the movies!
11:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – play cards by the pool, take a dip, hit the hot tub, venture to the Woodshed or just chill by the fire. The night is yours!
Thursday – Happy 4th!!
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
10:30AM – Bridge 101 – Learn the grandaddy of all card games. Meet in the dining hall
12:00 Lunch – Hamburger / Hot dog cook out.
12:00PM to 4:00PM– PARTY IN THE USA! – Beat the heat as we celebrate the 4th at the pool in our own wet and wild way!
3:00PM – Trivia at the pool – Test your knowledge of many subjects at this special edition if a Whispering oaks Favorite.
4:00 to 6:00 – Volleyball and cornhole
6:30PM Dinner – Menu TBA
8:30PM to 10:00PM – RED, WHITE AND BLUE UNDERGEAR PARTY– Wear your patriotic, underwear or gear or come as you are outside bar for drinks, dancing, and shenanigans
10:30PM – FIREWORKS ON THE 4TH!!! – gathering the courtyard and watch as Whispering Oaks lights up the sky!
11:00PM – WO AFTER DARK – play cards by the pool, take a dip, hit the hot tub, venture to the Woodshed or just chill by the fire. The night is yours!
FRIDAY – 7/5
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
10:00AM-12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS –The trail map has been updated for 2024 so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air and the start of Summer.
12:00PM – LUNCH – Cold Cut ham or turkey wrap with potato salad, chips, and cookies
12:00PM to 3:00PM– FUN IN THE SUN POOL TIME- Watch your tan lines disappear in our swimsuit optional pool with your favorite summertime tunes
3:00PM – POOL VOLLEYBALL- dive in and help your team bump, set, and score their way to win. All skill levels welcome
4:30PM – JUST FOR TODAY/FRIENDS OF BILL MEET UP- WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery. Take a break from the day and head to the porch at Site21 for some coffee and conversation. Open to all
5:00PM – COURTYARD CORNHOLE! – Join us in the courtyard for a few rounds of cornhole before dinner
6:30PM – DINNER – Baked pork chops served over rice and gravy, fresh green beans, dinner rolls, and dessert
8:00PM – PRESHOW COCKTAILS – Stop by the outdoor bar for a cocktail before the show
8:30PM – WHISPERING OAKS LIVE! – Join the cast of Whispering Oaks Live! for a show you will never forget!!!!
10:00PM to MIDNIGHT – GLOW POOL DANCE AND PARTY! – After the show head to the pool for a dance party under the stars!
MIDNIGHT – WO AFTER DARK – Take a dip in the pool, hang at the fire, relax in the hot tub, or head to the Woodshed for some steamy fun. The night is yours
Saturday – 7/6
8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

12:00PM to 3:00PM– WET N WILD POOL PARTY- Stay cool by the pool and have some fun in the sun!
3:00PM – Trivia by the pool – Test your general trivia knowledge poolside at this special edition of a WO favorite.
5:00PM – FREEDOM CRAWL! – Meet at the outdoor bar for a crawl through the park as residents and guests host drinks before dinner! To host a stop on the crawl, see Ben or Tracy
6:30PM – DINNER – Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, garlic bread, garden salad, and dessert
8:30PM – WHISPERING OAKS LIVE! – Join the cast of Whispering Oaks Live! for a variety show like none other!!!!
10:00PM – FIRE IN THE SKY! – The show heads outside with our weekend’s grand finale fireworks spectacular!

8:00AM to 10:00AM CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall
