Calling all Bears and Cubs for our relaxing Pre-Hibernation Bear Weekend.  Lounge by the pool, enjoy great food, and just relax or join and escape the hectic pace of your daily life.

LAZY DAYS BEAR FOAM PARTY WEEKEND 2024

8/9-8/11

Welcome Home to Whispering Oaks!  Our 21 and over men only retreat is open 365 days a year.  Enjoy our heated pool, hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, courtyard games. hiking trails, heated showers, and our indoor play area appropriately named, the Woodshed.  During event weekends, all meals are included and served in the dining hall and the schedule offers a variety of entertainments including themed parties, dance nights, cocktails, games and shows featuring the cast of Whispering Oaks LIVE!  Here is what’s lined up for this weekend!

Friday- 8/9

7:00PM – WELCOME HOME POTLUCK – Bring a dish to share and join us in the dining hall for a social hour and some good food!

8:00PM – WELCOME HOME COCKTAILS – Join us at the outdoor bar for a Friday night cocktail hour!

9:00PM – FURRY FRIDAY- Relax and unwind at the pool, no suit needed and fur, while encouraged, is optional!  Jump in for a night swim

11:00 PM – WO AFTER DARK – The heat is on so head to the woodshed for steamy fun, relax in the hot tub or join the conversation around the fire.

Saturday – 8/10

8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL-BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

10:00AM-12:00PM – INTO THE WOODS –The trail map has been updated for 2024 so scan the QR code at the office and hit one of our many hiking trails to enjoy the mountain air and the joys of Summer.

12:00PM – LUNCH – Sloppy Joe Sandwiches, Cole slaw, chips, cookies

12:00PM-3:00PM– BARE BEAR POOL DAY- Stay cool at the pool and have some fun in the sun!

2:00PM – POOL VOLLEYBALL! –  Knock the ball around with us in this fun afternoon game

3:PM – GROWLER AFTERNOON TRIVIA– Test your knowledge and win prizes in this BEAR spin on a Whispering Oaks favorite

4:00PM – JUST FOR TODAY/FRIENDS OF BILL MEETING- WO’s onsite open meeting for those in Recovery.  Take a break from the day and head to the porch at Site21 for some coffee and conversation. Open to all

5:00PM – COURTYARD CORNHOLE! – Join us in the courtyard for a few rounds of cornhole before dinner 

6:30PM – DINNER – Ben’s Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti, Fresh Garden Salad, Garlic Bread.  Dessert.

8:30PM – COCKTAILS!!- Head to the pavilion for a little courage in a shot before the Foam Fun!!!

9:00PM to 11PM – BEAR BUMS FOAM PARTY! – Dance and Play time at the Pavilion with our Buck Wild Foam Party!!!  Stick around and dance after frolicking in the suds

11PM – WO AFTER DARK – After foam, stick around and dance, or rinse off and hit the hot tub or the campfire, or venture to the Woodshed, or hit them all.  The evening is yours!

Sunday –8/11

8:00AM to 10:00AM – CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – served in the Dining Hall

11:00AM – CHECK OUT – RRR Day! Enjoy all of our facilities as long as you like!  Recuperate, Reset, and plan your Return!  We can’t wait to see you again
